FRESH PITA BREAD – FRESH IS BEST!
Like most bread, pita is best eaten fresh from the oven. Freshly baked pita bread is beautifully soft, easy to fill, and tastes a thousand times better. That’s why Danny’s pita bread has been baked daily using an authentic family recipe for the last 30 years.
The moment pita bread is exposed to air, it begins to harden. This can make the pita brittle, more inclined to break and more difficult to eat. But all is not lost. To enjoy your Danny’s Pita Bread the way it was intended, we recommend serving your pita the day it was purchased or alternatively pop it straight in the freezer as soon as you arrive home. To serve, simply remove each pita from the freezer and pop it in the toaster. What could be easier?
Alternatively, if you are cooking a feast, simply place several pita pockets in a preheated oven. Bake for 1-2 minutes at 180°C from frozen. Pita can also be heated for 20 seconds in the microwave.

Wholemeal Pita Bread
Our wholemeal pita breads are just like our originals but with the added goodness of wholemeal flour.
Pita bread is a flat wheat bread, baked to allow for a pocket to be created and therefore easily filled. The key to good quality pita is the taste and strength of this pita. Danny’s has a unique method of baking our pita, which makes it “stronger”, our pita pocket will not fail you!

Lebanese Pita Bread
Lebanese Bread is not only larger in size, but also thinner in consistency to pita bread, making it ideal for wrapping kebabs, be they traditional shwarma, souvlaki or a “kiwi” kebab.
Lebanese Breads can be used as wraps for pizza bases, tortillas as well as for sandwich wraps and other inovative idesa.
